Victoria Peak (Chinese: 太平山, or previously Chinese: 扯旗山) is a mountain in the western half of Hong Kong Island. It is also known as Mount Austin, and locally as The Peak. With an altitude of 552 m (1,811 ft), it is the highest mountain on Hong Kong island, ranked 31 in terms of altitude in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Tai Mo Shan is the highest point in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region with an altitude of 957 m).
The summit is occupied by a radio telecommunications facility and is closed to the public. However, the surrounding area of public parks and high-value residential land is the area that is normally meant by the name The Peak. It is a major tourist attraction that offers views over Central, Victoria Harbour, Lamma Island and the surrounding islands.

Captured on my final night in Hong Kong. The shot that every tourist needs / gets. Caught the last remaining bits of light in the sky after I waded through the hundreds of tourists flooding the viewing platform 6 people deep. Finally made it in to the corner of the platform to set a tripod and shoot this 6 image stitch.
One of the luckiest collections of sunrise pictures I’ve taken. The cloud kept flowing over the hills behind me until the sun rose and broke-through, turning Kowloon Bay golden and bathing the city in it’s light. The cloud above and forest below provide the perfect frame.

Victoria Peak, the only thing that’s taller than the Hong Kong skyline.
Thanks for looking and if you have any constructive criticism it would be much appreciated!
Visiting Hong Kong, my one true goal of the whole trip was to shoot from victoria peak. As cheesy as that sounds it was true but I did not have any good weather over the whole week I was there and had to settle for foggy photos..
But optimism would be there is a great desire to go back again to get the dream shot I set out for again.
