This island is located just outside the city of Trondheim. The history of the island starts 1000 years ago when the Vikings ravaged in the heart of my region. Much of the history of Norway started actually in my region… Exciting story today… 🙂
The magnificent Triumphal Arch (Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel) by night, Paris, France. The photo was taken from Tuileries gardens. The monument was built between 1806-1808 to commemorate Napoleon’s military victories.
Another take on the harbour in Barcelona. Shot during sunrise, I like how this treatment makes it look as if it was shot at midnight. I rotated the shot by 180 degrees because I like the way your eyes do a double take as a familiar scene is (literally) turned on its head. By Mark Higham.
