Long exposure of some houses along the river Maas (Meuse) in Maastricht, in the south of the Netherlands. I used a B&W 10-stops filter to get to an exposure time of 2 minutes. This made the water and the sky smooth and the cars and people on the other side of the river disappear.
Taken on our last holiday. This part of the little town is known worldwide, and I’m sure there are millions of images around like this. What makes this somehow a bit special, is the fisherman waiting for his catch of the day.
This is a pretty well known shot in the Bavarian town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This is a fairly quiet street however busy enough to make it difficult to get a long exposure shot without a car driving past. At first I wasn’t a fan of the light trails in this shot, but I think it works. It shows something modern in what otherwise is a very old town.
