Looking up at the massive double spiral staircase inside Vatican Museum. I took this image shortly before the museum closed and after most visitors had left. I composed with a manual fisheye lens to lead the viewer as the decorated staircases spiral upwards from the bottom right.
As the St. Charles Church in Vienna is lit by quite very strong lights, for this I had to wait until midnight, until they turn them off. Overall I used 190 shots for the stars and additional 2 for the architecture. I used a fisheye lens here, and I corrected the distortion in postprocessing.
I recently went on a tour of the now abandoned Aldwych tube station. It is now only used occasionally as a movie set, and is a very interesting spot to visit, with loads of atmosphere 🙂
