Finest moments by videophotoart_com

Sunset promenade at Naviglio Grande (Grand Canal), an artificial waterway in Milan – Italy.
On the banks of the Naviglio formerly lived workers and artisans. Today the area of the Naviglio is a romantic area to stroll. Artists’ studios, original shops, romantic pubs, flea markets, and concerts make the area the Naviglio is a unique venue.

“Looking down over the locks” – Chateau Laurier by tawatts

I took this shot last night while wandering around with a number of other photographers. Another of the active photographers, Roland posted in a local Facebook group about just a casual get together to wander around and take some shots.

It was fun to be wandering around in a small group chatting about photography, and of course very safe as well. I’m looking forward to another night of this in the coming weeks.

I like the way this shot turned out, but I am going to revisit to take it again. The dock that I have to stand on to take the scene is floating, so the image is not as sharp as I would like it to be. It looked good in camera, but I’m not completely happy with it.

Golden Hong Kong Panorama by Richard-Brew

One of the luckiest collections of sunrise pictures I’ve taken. The cloud kept flowing over the hills behind me until the sun rose and broke-through, turning Kowloon Bay golden and bathing the city in it’s light. The cloud above and forest below provide the perfect frame.

Lift Bridge in Weesp over Vecht river. by tmrother

Weesp, a small picturesque town founded in 1355. Worth a stopover, if you drive by. Build about as the same time as the nearby Amsterdam, but on much smaller scale (18000 inhabitants). This lifting bridge (€3/boat) over river Vecht is identical in construction and age to the Amsterdam bridges. Many houses in the protected historical center are from 17th and 18th century.
