Angkor Wat, Cambodia by DariaKlepikova

is a temple complex in Cambodia and the largest religious monument in the world. It was originally founded as a Hindu temple for the Khmer Empire, gradually transforming into a Buddhist temple toward the end of the 12th century. It was built by the Khmer King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century in Yaśodharapura, the capital of the Khmer Empire, as his state temple and eventual mausoleum. Breaking from the Shaiva tradition of previous kings, Angkor Wat was instead dedicated to Vishnu. As the best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious center since its foundation. The temple is at the top of the high classical style of Khmer architecture. It has become a symbol of Cambodia, appearing on its national flag, and it is the country’s prime attraction for visitors.

The Giant Saigon by eyexplorearth

*** See this photo on black right now! ***

Ho Chi Minh City remains one of the best Southeast Asian cities I have been so far. This photo got taken during the Chinese New Year back in February 2015.
I got totally impressed to see a city with such a melange of modernity and traditions.
If you go to Vietnam, this is a must see city for sure. People are extremely kind, the food is cheap and so good.

I hope you can like this view as much as I liked it when I liked it when I was shooting it.

Nearly 10 millions of people live everyday in the giant Saigon. The number of motorbikes will certainly make you go crazy, particularly if this is your first time there. 😉

For those curious, this is a merge of 10 images on Photoshop.
If you may wonder why I do not post as often as before, this is because my computer died, I have no computer, no Photoshop and even one of my lenses no longer works anymore.

I am normally off to Indonesia by September and hopefully I will get the chance to take amazing pictures that I will share with you.

Thank you for your support. If you like my work, check my other pictures and follow me! 😀
