Diamond Hall by AliKordZadeh

For exclusive details please press M ( None of my shots are with Tripod).

Diamond Hall is located in the southern wing of the Golestan Palace,Tehran, Iran.

It is called “Diamond” Hall because of the exceptional mirror work inside the building that appears like individual reflective diamonds.

The construction of this hall dates back to 1700 and it is a combined work of Persian mirror workers and european painters.

Mondrian Oasis by 1davidmcmahon

Sometimes you see something on your travels that really stops you in your tracks because it is so unexpected. Exploring Chew Jetty in Penang, I noticed this meticulously painted storage shed for a Juicylicious outlet. The paint scheme was such a contrast to the surroundings of little shops, nooks and crannies and boardwalk alleyways above the water.

Dragon Trainer by 1davidmcmahon

This dragon mural might look huge, but it was on a small verandah wall tucked away in Penang’s George Town zone, which is a UNESCO Heritage Area. It was beside a set of outward-opening doors – and despite my manoeuvring, the only was I could shoot this efficiently was by allowing the door to intrude slightly on my composition. (Can you see the long old-world bolt on the top of the door?)
