This is the former Dutch royal palace in Baarn, the Netherlands. Nowadays the palace is empty, but once it used to thrive with activity until 2004 when former Queen Juliana passed away. Originally the building was built around 1650. In its long history it has been altered and extended.
Amsterdam is celebrating today October 27th its 740th Birthday. On this date in the year 1275 the town was officially exempt from tolls.and has given its inhabitants the right to transport their goods through the then existing County of Holland.
