This image shows the mystic beauty I found in Lille, Northern France.
It was a really cloudy summer day, grey colours everywhere and then I found this hotel, shining bright mostly in red colours. This made this hotel look really interesting.

Industrial reds and greys by HvB

When in Essen in Germany’s Ruhr district, do visit the former industrial mine complex called Zollverein in the north of the city. It is now a World Heritage Site that harbors great views of Bauhaus-inspired architecture as well as stunning industrial vistas – such as the water-filled pusher machine track that runs alongside the former coking plant wall.
