May 31, 2013 was the last official day for the public to visit the pier. ” They are building something new in its place called Pier Park.

Well the idea was to capture the cityscape by sunset, but it was a bit lousy so I ended up capturing blue hour instead. Maybe I’ll try in a couple weeks again.
