The Palace of Westminster is the meeting place of the House of Commons and the House of Lords, the two houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. Commonly known as the Houses of Parliament after its occupants, the Palace lies on the northern bank of the River Thames in the City of Westminster, in central London.
I always wanted to return to The Hague in the evening sometime to shoot the parliament buildings at night. Last night the weather conditions were quite good, hardly any wind thus nice calm water which would be great for the reflections in the water.
The Hague is the seat of the Dutch government and parliament, the Supreme Court, and the Council of State, but the city is not the capital of the Netherlands which constitutionally is Amsterdam.
Taken from the south bank of the Thames along Riverside Walk (aka The Queen’s Walk), just down from Hungerford Bridge and just up from The London Eye, on the edge of Jubilee Gardens.
