The towering glass cone at Wheelock Place brings a special challenge for photographers seeking to align adjacent buildings neatly within the segments of the conical structure’s base.
The possibilities of bokeh were endless while shooting this on Orchard Road in September 2014. Each “bubble” in this stainless steel art installation – called “Perfect Duo”, by Yeo Chee Kiong, reflected the distinctive central shopping district of Singapore.
This (unedited) image shows a visual rarity – a corridor that curves out of sight. Another rare feature of this shot is that there are identical pillars on the left, yet most of the doors and windows on the right are different from each other in design and colour. This was shot at Emerald Hill, Singapore, a conservation area that is just off Orchard Road.
