Girona is filled these days with thousands of flowers to celebrate “Temps de Flors” (Flowers Time), the most important Catalan flower show. In its 59th edition, which will run for a week and a half. Temps de Flors is showing a total of 185 different free exhibitions. Most of the spots are in the open air, so tourists can appreciate them while strolling through the heart of Girona, and others are inside historical buildings and patios.
After a few years closed because of archeological excavations The Cathedral basement –one of the most emblematic spots of the festival– it has been reopened. It’s quite amazing, when I got inside the basement the contrast between the colorful grass and the doll tones of the walls amazed me.
