This Rhine-Bridge is called Theodor-Heuss-Brücke and connects Wiesbaden, the capital of the Land Hessen with Mainz, the capital of the Land Rheinland-Pfalz. In the background at the left side you can see the “Mainzer Dom”.

The „Nibelungenlied“ is an epic poem written in Middle High German (12th-13th century). The first part of the saga tells about Siegfried the dragon-slayer at the court of the Burgundians and how he was murdered. In a complicated story the Nibelungen gold treasure sank into the Rhine River and disappeared forever. The „Rheingold“ is also a theme in the opera cycle of Richard Wagner, the Ring of the Nibelung.
So unfortunately I did not really find the Rheingold – but anyway the Rhine in the area of Mainz shines very golden this evening.
