The elliptical arches of the Seafarers Bridge in Melbourne slot neatly between the silhouettes of buildings more than a kilometre away. The bridge, opened in 2009, spans the Yarra River between Docklands and South Wharf.
This is again the marina of St Katharine docks in central London, which formerly was a mooring place for the cargo ships. The whole place has been refurbished keeping the old whorehouses (visible in the photo) and turning them in hotels, restaurants or flats.
