Arts Science Museum 2015 by JonathanDanker

Arts Science Museum, Singapore

One of the challenges before was getting this structure looking correct as the shooting position was quite close up to the building. It’s quite interesting that the tilt shift vertorama was able to get the perspective quite accurately without much efforts.

Marina Barrage by JonathanDanker

Marina Barrage, Singapore

One of the to-do shots when I got my tilt shift but never got around to trying it out till yesterday.

It’s kind of strange cause I only imagined this shot with the fisheye I did a few years ago but looking at the tilt shift version.. I wonder why I never tried it with a rectilinear lens.

Formula 1 2015 finale by JonathanDanker

Singapore City, formula 1 grand finale fireworks

Another year has passed and that means I get to shoot the awesome fireworks display put together by the extremely talented Glorious Singapore!

The haze from Indonesia did make an appearance as usual but luckily this time around it was quite subdued and made the image pretty nice with the city glow.

Star Vista by JonathanDanker

Star Vista, Singapore

I should have been sleeping hours ago but I really wanted to do a superior piece with the tk actions. I wanted to really see how well it could handle the bright highlights with the new 16bit masks..

It isn’t apparent in the web versions but it does make really smooth transitions when working with the images.

fifty by JonathanDanker

Marina Bay, Singapore

Going into the eighth year of photography, I really feel I’ve slowed down quite a bit in posting my works up. I’m arguably more happier with what I am producing now but I’m still having the bad habit of posting images made in bad light, weather and not optimal conditions even though I have much more better images stored away..

Here’s one from a month back, taken during a rainy night which made the urban lights shine a little cleaner.

I hope that my lack of activity does not deter anyone from coming back to see my new works when I do post though.
