Built in the 19th century as the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJ), this Singapore complex was declared a national monument in 1990 and is now a high-profile multi-purpose centre in the city’s Downtown Core. Can you spot the historic spiral staircase? Voortrekker Monument by chenjamesjjj

A corner of Voortrekker Monument, which is located just south of Pretoria in South Africa. This massive granite structure is prominently located on a hilltop, and was raised to commemorate the Voortrekkers who left the Cape Colony between 1835 and 1854.
