A street-level window on the heritage-listed Chinese villa in Little India, Singapore. Built in 1900 by Tan Teng Niah, it has been restored and leased for commercial use.
The tones and shapes through these arches at Chijmes in central Singapore caught my eye. A re-launched entertainment and dining complex, it derives its name from its original life as the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJ).
This (hand-held) shot is of the Fullerton Hotel, which was originally the Singaore GPO. I used the silhouettes of the palm trees to emphasise the floodlit pillars and beautiful structure of this historic building.
