Faultlines – Canada Water Library, London, England – http://ift.tt/V5qrF7

Sorry I have been quiet on here lately, I have been eagerly wanting to upload my Open House London images but I wanted to just wait a little as sometimes there can be too many uploaded onto Flickr in one go and sometimes can get missed with the mass upload.

This is Canada Water Library and one spiral staircase I didn’t know existed so was glad to add it to my ever growing list of Spiral Staircases. The staff here were very polite and allowed you to wonder around the building which from the outside is very interesting, almost looks like a bunker but when inside you would never know it looked like that from the outside.

Of course this is the centre piece of the whole building and my wide angle lens was just big enough to get it all in frame. Just a nice little touch to the overall image was the other photographer on the chairs at the bottom, I don’t know who she is but I like that little addition to the photo, I hope I was just as photogenic in your photo too :-).

The eye II by Carlosmacr

Whenever i manage to “see” some of this kind architecture and i think in all of these beautiful photos i am not able to see and miss, i remember of Alfon No and Juandevillalba, both 500px user who master this kind of photography.

As a photographer, you should always look not just around you but above you. This is one example of utilizing an UWA, even with 14mm on a full frame, it is still not wide enough. Put the camera on the floor and I have to control it on my phone. I have to stand a couple of meters away from it, otherwise i’ll be in the shot as well.
