Junipero Serra’s Quarters by PatKofahl

Junipero Serra’s Quarters at Mission Carmel in California. “Mission Carmel”, as it came to be known, was Serra’s favorite and, being close to Alta California’s capital of Monterey served as his headquarters. When he died on August 28, 1784, he was interred beneath the chapel floor. Father Serra was just made a Saint by His Holiness, Pope Francis.

Holy Churches at the Sea of Galilee by Isamtelhami

After The Bread and Fish Church was burned at Tabgha( Sea of Galilee) Tiberia two weeks ago I decided to visit the church last sunday , but The church was close for rebuilding .
So I went to the next church in the area The Greek Orthodox Church – Capernaum and I bring this photo out of solidarity against the church burning and against any holy place damage
