Half Over Fall by morganpt

With a strong wind and a storm, the Fall colors in Ann Arbor are coming down fast. Like Cherry Blossoms, the most beautiful things have ephemeral lives.

This one was abnormally challenging image to stitch as there were so many geometric shapes in the tiles. I need a tilt shift!!

Minny Morning Monochrome by morganpt

Once again I am torn between black and white and color. I’ll just keep the more popular in my gallery, so please just like the one you like most. 🙂 This time, the image is in Minneapolis, Minnesota as I watched the sun rise over the Mississippi. I feel that this part of the Minneapolis along the Mississippi is magical. I’ve here several times, and each time mother nature puts on a memorable show.

Weisman Dynamism by morganpt

The The Frederick R Weisman Art Museum is an energetic museum, both in its art collection that is free for the public to view and for its creative architecture. This image was taken from a balcony.

Warm Welcome by morganpt

At the time this picture was taken, this was where I worked at the University of Michigan. I remember when I first started working there, I used to think “Wow, I work in a cool place.”

Pressing H and M to make the image larger and on a black background, really enhances the viewing.

Have a great weekend!

Acorn Rain by morganpt

Definitely press “M” for the large, full feel:-)

After being in Boston for a week for work, I was soooo excited to wake up early on my day off to shoot the sunrise. As it happened, when I got up at 3:30 for the 5pm crest of the sun, I heard the heavy rain. I was about to call it quits but ultimately decided to see what I could find in the dark downpour. A few streets away from my Air BnB apartment, I found this lovely street – Acorn Street. While shooting, it was impossible to keep the rain off of my lens using my hood and umbrella, so there are bits of water in the shot. I actually love that part and hope you do too.

Beantown Trespassing by morganpt

I wanted to portray the sleepy, chill vibe of Beantown as if it were on speed. As I was waiting for the perfect moment where the train came around the corner, I was approached by the Boston Police. They were wondering what I was doing. In hind sight, I should have realized that taking photos of trains looked suspicious. They were cool though and after a background check, let me continue my work:-)

I posted this a little while ago for like ten minutes before realizing I put a pre-cropped image. Sorry for those who already “liked” it.
