Light Path by edwardreese

Tried some super wide angle views of the Tribute in Lights event on September 11th. Really wanted to show how high those twin lights reach into the sky. Read somewhere that they are four miles high.

Posting three images from that evening that I thought gave the lights some scale. Hope you find them as interesting and amazing as I did..

Thank you all for the fine comments and feedback!

This is one of three wide angle views from that evening. The other two can be viewed here and here.

Everlasting | 9/11 New York City Tribute in Light by bkuPhotography

About
The brilliant New York City skyline illuminates the night sky and the East River comes alive as dusk approaches. Hundreds of people watched as the sun slowly set and darkness allowed these twin towers of light to shine brightly as the memory of 9/11 resonates within each of us. Amidst tragedy and loss, may everlasting hope continue to rise.

Photographing alongside many other photographers on the Manhattan Bridge for hours allowed me to meet new friends and have some great conversations. I even had the chance to meet the photographer who originally gave me the inspiration for this perspective. Just one of those special evenings.
