Love this building, it makes a good contrast to the other buildings.
I was about to drop my camera during this shots because my tripod was on the edge of the lake border ..

5th Fireworks rehearsal for SG50 National Day.
For a city that has fireworks so much throughout the year. It’s a great time to be a photographer in Singapore where the displays are getting so big and grand even for just a rehearsal.
But with that being said.. theres a great surge of photographers going early to spots as early as 1pm in the afternoon. Gone were the days when I could just arrive at location at 4pm and there would be no one around.
So long story short.. I couldn’t get to my pre planned spot but managed to find myself at a pretty decent vantage point in the end.
Theres a good reason there was no clamouring over this location though as it required a full 180 degree panorama to achieve the full effect and I underestimated the size of the fireworks as I had to quickly change from 17mm ts to my samyang 14mm so I couldn’t use any of my blue hour shots in the end.
Hope you like this image! It took some work to create.
