Microsoft And LinkedIn Want To Help People Write Better Resumes

The partnership uses a digital assistant to streamline the resume writing process and offer tips

Microsoft and LinkedIn are not wasting any time helping job hunters all over the world. Now, Office 365 subscribers can enjoy a new feature called Resume Assistant—an artificial intelligence that will help users make the best job resumes with less effort.

By using the Resume Assistant, Microsoft Word users get a front row seat to the most compelling resumes ever uploaded on LinkedIn to use as guides in writing their own resumes. Word users will also be assisted in customizing a resume that will improve their discoverability and appeal. And once those resumes are uploaded, employers and recruiters can have direct access to them, which opens up more opportunities for people seeking work.

With the stiff competition in employment, this new tool will help empower job seekers to create stand-out resumes. And hopefully, Microsoft and LinkedIn’s partnership will help people land jobs.
