Alsace is a famous French region, tucked away in the north-eastern part of France, right on the border to Germany. This beautiful region, with picturesque villages that make Grimm’s fairy tales come to life, is also an intriguing producer of white wines. Grapes like Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer excel in Alsace and they go extremely well with the local gastronomy. But all is not perfect in this seemingly picture perfect region.
